Yeah, way to go Sarah!! Dog abuse is right up there with Child abuse in my heart!Cruelty to animals speaks volumes about a person's character.You don't have to own a pet or even want a pet, but, if you abuse animals you're not to be trusted.
Appreciation note:I have been meaning to write in and especially commend Sarah-- it is so important for animals to have allies, too.If I were there, I would have done the same.
